Vote Dreamcoat Day
Yesterday Mayor McDonald proclaimed "Vote Dreamcoat Day". Dreamcoat Fantasy Theatre, a local youth theater company is in an on-line competition for funding through Aviva Insurance. The process is similar to the Hockeyville challenges of a few years ago.
There is a link to the voting site on the Dreamcoat home page at www.dreamcoat.ca
It is fairly simple to register and vote. There is only one day left and Dreamcoat needs a large community push to advance to the next level.
Please consider taking a moment to register and vote today and tomorrow for this worthwhile community initiative.

MEDIA RELEASE
With the very low water levels a 300 foot wide strip of beach has opened up along the Lake
Nipissing shoreline. This area is being used by vehicles and children at the same time.
Moreover most of the beach front is in fact private property of the abutting landowners as there
is no Lakeshore Road Allowance along the Lake Nipissing shoreline. As a result of various
concerns expressed by the public, the City has now erected barricades and signs along the
boundaries of its Lake Nipissing Beaches and Lakeshore Road Allowance access points along
the Lake Nipissing shoreline.
