LANDFILL OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
The City of North Bay is inviting applications for the position of Landfill Operations Coordinator, reporting to the Senior Environment and Facilities Engineer and the Manager of Roads, Traffic and Landfill Operations. The Landfill Operations Coordinator position is responsible for the compliance to Certificates of Approval for the operation and oversight of City Landfills. Completes requirements of compliance protocols within the Environmental Services Department, including programs to protect air, surface and ground water and land assets ensuring compliance to Provincial Standards. Maintenance and operation of Landfill infrastructure and equipment. Responds to Environmental Emergencies. Supports, Manager of Roads Traffic and Landfill Operations as required. Provides support to Environmental Control Officer and Supervisor of Landfill Operations as required.

The annual salary range for this non-union position is $60,863 – $76,057. We offer a comprehensive benefit package and are an Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) employer.
