The Corporation of the City of North Bay is inviting applications for the position of Operations Supervisor, Water & Wastewater Facilities. Under the direction of the Manager of Operations, Water & Wastewater, the Supervisor provides on-going supervision of operators. Provides direction and oversight to maintenance staff and contractors as required. Provides treatment of drinking water and wastewater while keeping in mind employee and public safety, compliance, cost and aesthetics; Acts as Overall Responsible Operator (ORO) and must be available to respond to emergency situations afterhours and will be part of a four (4) person on-call rotation.
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Federal, Provincial and Municipal Regulations and Standards and ensure work is carried out in compliance with Municipal Drinking Water License and Permit and Wastewater Certificate of Approval.

The City of North Bay may take into consideration lower combinations of certifications for eligibility with the expectation that required certifications are achieved in a reasonable timeframe.
The annual salary range for this non-union position is $70,312 - $87,882. The City of North Bay is an Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) employer.
