North Bay, ON – Oct. 1, 2022 – Algonquin Avenue will be reduced to one lane of traffic in both directions for a three-week period starting Monday, Oct. 3 as part of ongoing intersection improvements.
Front and Jane streets will remain open, but will also be reduced to one lane. Pedestrians crossing Algonquin Avenue at this intersection should continue to use the pedestrian crossing lights and follow the path delineated by the contractor.
Motorists are reminded to abide by traffic/construction signs posted in local areas to ensure safe travel of all users. Road users should expect delays travelling through this section of Algonquin Avenue for the duration of the project.
