North Bay, ON – April 1, 2021 – Reconstruction of Cassells Street is set to resume starting April 6 and is tentatively scheduled for completion by the end of July, 2021.
The remaining installation of sewers, watermain and road work will be mostly concentrated on Cassells Street between King’s Highway 11/17 and Shaw Street. Final paving of Cassells Street, including line painting, will be completed from Chippewa Street to the Highway 11/17 intersection.
During this period, one lane of traffic in both directions will be provided for access to local businesses and to provide for safe travel through the construction zone. As this may result in short traffic delays, travellers are advised to add extra time to their schedule or temporarily take an alternate route.
