Film Project at Lee Park Oval (public skating to remain open at all times)

North Bay, ON – Feb. 28, 2020 – Film crews will be shooting at a couple of locations within the City this weekend, including at and around the skating oval at Lee Park.

The oval will remain open to the public at all times, although there may be intermittent disruptions to skating while equipment is moved. Set preparations will take place on Saturday followed by filming on Sunday. The parking lot near the Gateway Arch will be reserved for public use.

Crews will also be filming in the pedestrian underpass/walkway between Memorial Drive and Discovery North Bay Museum. Filming between both locations will take place Sunday afternoon and evening. There will be intermittent traffic stoppages along Memorial Drive between Monk Street and Colgan Avenue during filming.

The City is working with the film’s producers to ensure that they can film their project efficiently and safely in the appropriate locations. We apologize for any inconveniences that this may cause.
