North Bay, ON – Feb.4, 2021 – A section of McIntyre Street East between Wyld and Ferguson streets has been reduced to a single lane to allow for repairs to the brick parapet on the north facing exterior wall of the Capitol Centre building.
The repair work is expected to be completed over the next several days. During this time, the alleyway between the Capitol Centre and Alger Furniture & Appliances will be closed.
The work to repair the parapet, which is an aesthetic extension of the exterior wall, was expected to take place in the spring, but has been accelerated due to damage caused by the build-up of ice and snow this winter.
