North Bay, ON – Jan. 27, 2021 – North Bay Mayor Al McDonald will host a virtual street-renaming dedication on Friday in honour of former Nipissing MP Bob Wood. The event will be livestreamed on the City of North Bay’s YouTube channel.

North Bay City Council unanimously approved a motion in December to rename Airport Way in honour of Bob Wood, who served the District of Nipissing as its Member of Parliament for almost 16 years, one of the longest serving MP’s in the history of the riding. Mr. Wood along with other guests, including former Ontario premier Mike Harris, will deliver remarks during the virtual dedication.
