North Bay, ON – May 6, 2021 – Due to severe weather in Texas last month, numerous chemical producing facilities that feed into the supply chain for traffic paint were damaged. As a result, several key raw material suppliers have indicated they will not be able to fulfill orders on time.
Subsequently, road line painting in many municipalities, including the City of North Bay, may be delayed and/or cancelled should suppliers not be able to fulfill orders.
The City of North Bay would like to remind motorists to be aware of their surroundings, obey all rules of the road, follow traffic signs and to drive with extra caution on both single lane and multi-lane streets.
