North Bay, ON – Sept. 9, 2021 – The City of North Bay Parks Department will be removing the wooden boardwalk along the Marina at the waterfront this week as part of a redevelopment project involving removal of damaged and rotting wooden boards, replacement of the pathway light electrical line and rehabilitation of the beds between the boardwalk and the lake.
This work will be completed in sections to allow continued access to the Marina. The boardwalk will be left as aggregate through the fall and will have a new surface installed in the spring of 2022.
