Changes to regular garbage/Blue Box collection schedule

NOTICE 

CHANGES TO THE REGULAR GARBAGE/BLUE BOX COLLECTION SCHEDULE

There will be no residential/commercial waste or blue box collection in the City of North Bay on Friday December 25th, 2020 and Friday January 1st, 2021. Friday’s collection will occur on Saturday

 

 Merrick Landfill and Household Hazardous Waste Depot

 

  • The Landfill will be closed on Friday, December 25th and will reopen on Saturday December 26th, 2020.
  •  
  • The Landfill will be closed on Friday January 1st and will reopen on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021.
  •  
  • The Household Hazardous Waste Depot will be closed on December 25th and December 26th and January 1, 2021

 

REMINDER:  All corrugated cardboard boxes and boxboard boxes should be broken down, flattened and bundled.  Bundles should be no larger than 30” X 30” X 8” and placed beside your blue box and away from the garbage. 

Please ensure that your waste and blue box recyclables are placed at the curb no later than 7:00 a.m. on your collection day.
