NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
In the Matter of Proposed Amendments
To City Departments’ User Fees and Charges
(including Waste Management User Fees and Charges)
AND
In the Matter of Proposed Water and Wastewater Rates
The Council of The City of North Bay will hold a Public Meeting on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 5:30 pm by ELECTRONIC PARTICIPATION FORMAT ONLY to consider proposed amendments to City Departments’ User Fees and Charges and Water and Wastewater Rates.
Due to COVID-19 Emergency, Council passed By-Law 2020-64 that amends the City of North Bay’s Procedural By-Law to permit electronic participation in meetings for Council, Local Boards and Committees. Therefore, there will not be an in-person meeting; this meeting will be conducted in an electronic format only.
PLEASE NOTE that the electronic meeting will allow for public presentation in a webinar format. Any person wishing to present at the public meeting must contact the City Clerk at ClerksOffice@northbay.ca or 705-474-0400 ext. 2510 to register as a presenter. Any written submissions received in advance of the meeting will be provided to Members of Council prior to the scheduled meeting. Registered presenters will be provided with instructions on how to join the meeting in advance. Information regarding livestreaming of the Public Meeting will be available on the City’s website. Only those individuals who wish to make a presentation need to register with the City Clerk.
Written submissions and material in support of or in opposition to the proposed amendments and rates will be received by the City Clerk on or before the meeting.
