Find Opportunities

The City of North Bay posts all competitive bid opportunities through bids&tenders, our online procurement portal.

The portal allows vendors to:

  • View current bid opportunities
  • Download bid documents
  • Receive notifications of addenda
  • Submit bids electronically (where applicable)
  • Check submissions for compliance before they are submitted
  • Track closing dates and times

Become a Vendor

To bid on City opportunities, you'll need a bids&tenders account – create one here.

If you're new to the system, bids&tenders provides guides and training resources to help you get started:  Vendor Support & Training

Along with the move to full electronic tender submission for open competitions, the City will be accepting digital bonds.  This is in alignment with support from the Surety Association of Canada.  Click here to learn more. Paper bonds will still be accepted for vendors who do not use digital bonds at this time.

Please note that the City will make payment to suppliers by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).

Purchase Order Terms & Conditions

The City's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions apply to Purchase Orders that are not governed by a separate signed contract between the City and the vendor.

If you have received a Purchase Order, please review the terms and conditions that apply to your Purchase Order or contract.
