Take Notice that at a Special Meeting of Council on Monday, February 2nd, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. the Council of The Corporation of the City of North Bay intends to adopt its 2026 Operating Budget.

Notice: Council-Approved Water Financial Plan 2025 to 2034
Notice of Council-Approved 2025 to 2034 Water Financial Plan No. 196-301 On November 25, 2025, in accordance with Ontario Regulation 453/07 under the Safe Drinking Water Act, 2002, the Council of the City of North Bay passed a resolution approving the 2025 to 2034 Water Financial Plan. The Water Financial Plan is one of the key elements required to obtain or renew the Municipal Drinking Water Licence.

Citizen Appointment - Municipal Compliance Audit Committee - 2026-2030
The Council of The Corporation of the City of North Bay invites applications from members of the general public (aged eighteen and above, and resident within the City of North Bay) who wish to be considered for appointment to the Compliance Audit Committee. We encourage qualified and interested individuals to volunteer their services and to provide input on various issues that affect the City of North Bay. The term of office runs concurrently with the term of Council.

Road closures due to watermain break near McKeown Avenue and O'Brien Street
North Bay, ON – Dec. 17, 2025 – A number of road closures are in place in the area of O'Brien Street and McKeown Avenue due to an emergency watermain break. The closures are as follows: Angus Avenue at O'Brien Street Ski Club Road at O'Brien Street Terrance Lawn Drive at O'Brien Street Vanier Street at McKeown Avenue The closures will remain in place until repairs are complete. Please avoid the area and use alternate routes.

City of North Bay Seeks Input on Downtown Waterfront Concept Designs
North Bay, ON – Dec 17, 2025 – The City of North Bay is continuing its public consultation on the Downtown Waterfront redevelopment and is now seeking feedback on three conceptual design options developed from previous community input. Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts through an online survey open until Jan. 14, 2026.
