    North Bay, ON – Jan. 18, 2021 – The City of North Bay will be introducing a new, efficient and convenient public transit booking and tracking system beginning Jan. 24, 2021 with the launch of dynamic dispatching.
  • COVID-19: Outdoor rinks and tobogganing hills closed
    North Bay, ON – Jan. 13, 2021 – Effective Jan. 14, all City of North Bay outdoor municipal rinks and tobogganing hills will be closed until further notice under the direction of the North Bay Parry Sound District Medical Officer of Health.

    North Bay, ON – Jan. 4, 2021 – The City of North Bay is reminding residents that Christmas trees can be dropped off for recycling at the Public Works yard, located at 1399 Franklin Street, until January 16th.

    North Bay, ON – Dec.15, 2020 – Santa Claus is coming to town on Sunday, Dec. 20. The City of North Bay will host a drive-thru Santa Claus event this Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the south parking lot at Memorial Gardens.
  • City updates timing at signalized intersections
    North Bay, ON – Dec. 10, 2020 – The City of North Bay will be updating timing plans at a number of signalized intersections during the week of Dec. 14 to 18.  As a result, the changes to the signalized intersections will ultimately enhance traffic movement efficiency. 
  • Closure: Booth Road – Ferris to Lakeshore
    North Bay, ON – Dec.4, 2020 – The City of North Bay is advising residents that Booth Road between Ferris Drive and Lakeshore Drive is expected to be closed for approximately two weeks while infrastructure repairs are completed.

    North Bay, ON – Nov. 30, 2020 – The Santa Claus Parade Committee and the Families First Committee have teamed up to help celebrate the holidays in a safe virtual way this year.     North Bay, ON – Nov. 26, 2020 – The City of North Bay provided notice this morning to those encamped outside City Hall that it will be enforcing its bylaw prohibiting camping on the property.
