The City of North Bay’s Arts, Culture and Recreation Department in partnership with other volunteer, public and private service providers will contribute to a healthy community and enhance the quality of life for citizens through the planning, management and delivery of arts, culture, recreation, and leisure services opportunities.
It is responsible for the planning, operation and management of arts, culture, recreation and leisure services for the City, including the planning, development and delivery of; community development initiatives with volunteers, public and private service providers, community events, activities and programs, along with arts, culture, age friendly, parks and active transportation long-term planning processes and policy development.
