The City of North Bay, in cooperation with local community groups, have experienced considerable success in hosting a wide range of cultural events, conferences, meetings, sporting activities, and special events at various levels. The City continues to support events on an ongoing basis through the existence and availability of facilities and infrastructure. Canada Armed Forces Day is a celebration of Canada's armed services, their heritage, and their personnel.
The day honours First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Survivors and their families and the children who never returned home, and survivors of residential schools, as well as their families and communities.
A series of free Arts and Culture activities held at the Kiwanis band shell on selected nights throughout June, July, and August.
In partnership with Sellebration Productions, The Kiwanis Bandshell is transformed into an outdoor theatre.
