Information Systems is responsible for the development and implementation of corporate computer and communication standards and to ensure that technology within the corporation is current, consistent and appropriate.
The department provides city-wide support and services for technology and telecommunications that enables citizens, businesses and staff to access City services and information electronically. The department is responsible for policy, procedures and standards to support technology, improve business processes and ensure protection of City assets.
The department manages the City’s computer application hardware and infrastructure as well as provides support to clients through a central Help Desk. Staff develop, implement and enhance City wide and departmental automated business applications.
