Citizen Appointment - North Bay-Parry Sound District Health Unit
The Council of The Corporation of the City of North Bay invites applications from resident within the City of North Bay) who wish to be considered for appointment to the North Bay-Parry Sound District Health Unit. We encourage qualified and interested individuals to volunteer their services and to provide input on various issues that affect the City of North Bay. The term of office runs concurrently with the term of Council.

Temporary Road Closure – Champlain Street
North Bay, ON – Sept.9, 2025 – Please be advised that Champlain Street will be closed between McKeown Avenue and Algonquin Avenue from 9 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, until 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, to accommodate a water valve replacement. Residents are asked to plan accordingly and use caution around the work zone. The City thanks everyone for their patience and cooperation while this work is completed.

North Bay Hosting Open House on Two Trout Lake-Related Policies
North Bay, ON – Sept.4, 2025 – The City of North Bay will host a Community Open House on Sept.10 to present two draft policies: one to guide rural lot creation within the City and another to guide development around Trout Lake, Four Mile Lake, and nearby streams.
