Deputy Mayor Maggie Horsfield currently sits as a Council appointed member on the following Agencies, Boards and Committees:

- Community Services Committee
Maggie Horsfield is a lifelong North Bay resident and has a Postgraduate Certificate in Global Development Challenges from the University of Edinburgh as well as a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Political Science and History from Nipissing University. She is a dedicated community member, and has served on Boards of Directors, including Near North Crime Stoppers, North Bay & District Chamber of Commerce and as Chair of the Lindsay Weld Centre for Children. Maggie also chaired the Young Professionals Committee while serving on the Chamber Board. In 2020, Maggie received the NBDCC Young Professional of the Year Award. She works at Nipissing University as the Executive Assistant in the President’s Office.
