Public reports regarding leaks and broken water mains are investigated by the City of North Bay's water service truck and if the investigation determines the concern as a break an emergency repair is scheduled. Emergency locates are obtained and a repair crew is dispatched to the repair location immediately. Sanitary concerns such as backup of mains, flooding and sink holes are investigated by the City of North Bay's sanitary service truck and if the investigation determines the complaint is a break then an emergency repair is scheduled immediately. A flooding report will then be completed by the City staff.
Claims must be submitted in writing to the City Clerk, City of North Bay, North Bay, Ontario, P1B 8V6. Claims are forwarded to the City's Insurer for review once received.
