North Bay, ON – Sept. 6, 2022 – A section of Judge Avenue, between Lee Avenue and Lakeshore Drive, will be closed for approximately two weeks starting Friday, Sept. 9 in preparation for the final phase of an ongoing watermain installation project. A detour will be in place for the Kate pace way.
Additionally, the contractor will be mobilizing on Sept. 12 for the completion of horizontal directional drilling. Although all lanes of traffic will remain open, delays at the intersection of Lakeshore Drive at Judge Avenue and Memorial Drive can be expected throughout the day.
Once installed, the new watermain will alleviate ongoing water pressure issues and serve as a second large-diameter feed to deliver drinking water to the West Ferris area.
The City of North Bay thanks residents for their patience while this infrastructure project is completed.
