North Bay, ON – Sept. 25, 2020 – As part of ongoing reconstruction, the detour at the intersection of Olive Street and Cassells Street will be reduced to one lane for installation of sewer and water infrastructure starting Monday, Sept. 28, 2020.
Temporary traffic lights will be in place to provide one lane of access through the intersection. The work is expected to be completed by the end of next week, with two lanes of detour traffic re-established.
Drivers are asked to adjust their travelling routes next week to minimize the delays. The contractor has reopened Cassells Street intersections at Chippewa and Princess streets to permit additional north/south travel between Fisher Street and High Street.
The City of North Bay thanks residents for their patience and co-operation while this infrastructure upgrade is completed.
