The City of North Bay has three arenas - Memorial Gardens Sports Arena, Pete Palangio Arena, and the West Ferris Arena, also known as Sam Jacks Complex. These arenas are available for year-round use.
In the winter, ice surfacs are used for skating, hockey and ringette.
The Pete Palangio Arena maintains its ice surface during the months of July and August to allow for summer ice rentals and the arena floor at the Sam Jacks Complex is used for ball hockey during the summer months. In addition, Memorial Gardens hosts a variety of trade shows, craft shows, and concerts during the summer months and throughout the year.

All of our renters are required to provide a copy of their $5 million general liability insurance naming ‘The Corporation of the City of North Bay’ as an additional insured. This can be purchased through such companies as North Bay’s Brokerlink.
