Option 1 – Plea of Guilty

Payment of total payable to a Provincial Offences Office.

Option 2 – Plea of Guilty – Submissions as to Penalty (Pleading guilty with an explanation)

Do Not Attend Court Office – pleas will be taken remotely by videoconference or by audioconference (telephone). For available dates and times, please call 705-474-0400 ext. 2146 or 2147 or email poagroup@northbay.ca. The Justice of the Peace cannot reduce the charge or the demerit points but can reduce the amount of the set fine and/or give an extension of time to pay the fine.

Option 3 – Trial Option

Fill out option 3 at the back of your ticket and mail or deliver to:

If you do not choose one of the options within 15 days of receiving your ticket, you will be deemed not to dispute the charge and a Justice of the Peace may enter a conviction against you and additional costs will be added to the total payable. If the fine goes into default, an administrative fee will be added and steps will be taken to enforce your defaulted fine.
