    North Bay, ON – July 22, 2022 – The City of North Bay will host a one-day recycling drop-off event on Aug. 28 to assist residents in disposing of used mattresses and box springs.

  • Open House: Main Street Reconstruction
    North Bay, ON – July 15, 2022 – A Public Open House will be held at North Bay City Hall on Tuesday, July 26 from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. regarding the planned reconstruction of a section of Main Street.
  • World’s Finest Shows returns to North Bay
    North Bay, ON – July 14, 2022 – World' Finest Shows travelling midway will be retuning to North Bay July 27 – Aug.1 at Lee Park on Memorial Drive. Ride tickets and bracelets will be available for purchase at the midway grounds.
  • Limited Waterfront Parking
    North Bay, ON – July 11, 2022 – Please be advised that access to parking at the North Bay Waterfront will be limited during the upcoming North Bay Ribfest, which runs from July 14 to July 17. The public is encouraged to utilize municipal parking lots on Oak Street during this time.

    North Bay, ON – July 5, 2022 – The City of North Bay, with the assistance of Canadore College’s School of Environmental Studies, is taking a deep dive into the household waste that’s picked up at the curb for a better understanding of the sort of materials going into our landfill.
  • Trout Lake Road Rehabilitation: Mountaiview Drive reopening
    North Bay, ON – July 5, 2022 – Please be advised that Mountainview Drive will re-open and that Lakeside Drive be closed beginning on Wednesday, July 6 as part of the ongoing reconstruction of a section of Trout Lake Road. This change was previously scheduled for last week but was delayed. Traffic from Lakeside Drive will be detoured to Mountainview Drive.
  • Reduced Parking at Olmsted Beach
    North Bay, ON – June 25, 2022 – Please be advised that available parking at the Olmsted Beach Parking Lot will be reduced throughout the summer while rehabilitation of the parking lot takes place as part of an ongoing sidewalk construction project on Lakeside Drive.
  • Road Closure: Fisher Street
    North Bay, ON – June 24, 2022 –Milling and paving will be taking place on a section of Fisher Street, between Main Street and Worthington Avenue, starting Tuesday, June 28.
  • Trout Lake Road Rehabilitation: Mountainview Drive to reopen; Lakeside Drive to close
    North Bay, ON – June 25, 2022 - Drivers are advised that  changes to the traffic controls for the reconstruction of a section of Trout Lake Road between Mountainview Drive and Lees Road will be implemented next week.  
  • Road Closure: Leask and Judge avenues
    North Bay, ON – June 25, 2022 – A section of Leask Avenue, between Beth Street and Judge Avenue, and a section of Judge Avenue, between Leask and Rowe avenues, will be closed starting Monday, June 27 as part of an ongoing watermain installation project. The work is expected progress along Judge Avenue throughout the week.
  • Replacement of waterfront walkway completed
    North Bay, ON – June 21, 2022 – Installation of a new surface for the walkway along the Marina at the City’s waterfront has been completed.
  • Swim to Survive Program
    North Bay, ON – June 21, 2022 – The City of North Bay is offering a free, single-day Swim to Survive program through the Canadian Lifesaving Society at Olmsted Beach on Sunday, July 24.
  • Multi-use courts reopening
    North Bay, ON – June 20, 2022 – North Bay’s multi-use courts will reopen on Wednesday, June 22 following the recent completion of a final surface treatment and line painting.

  • Lane Closures: Fisher Street and Fifth Avenue
    North Bay, ON – June 15, 2022 – Beginning today, a section of Fisher Street will be reduced to two lanes and section of Fifth Avenue will be reduced to a single lane between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. until end of day Friday while road and sidewalk improvements are underway.
